Let’s see the recipe for this delicious dish:

Ingredients Required:

  • 2 medium-sized onions (finely chopped)
  • 1 bell pepper (diced)
  • 2 green chillies
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh cream
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnishing

Preparation:

  • Heat oil in a heavy-bottomed pan. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
  • Add chopped onions and saute until they turn golden brown.
  • Add the ginger-garlic paste and saute until the raw smell disappears.
  • Next, add the diced tomatoes, green chilies, and cubed capsicum. Cook until the tomatoes turn tender and pulpy.
  • Now, sprinkle in salt, red chilli powder, and turmeric powder. Stir well and allow cooking for a few minutes.
  • Slice the paneer into cubes and add it to the pan. Gently stir, ensuring all the paneer cubes are nicely coated with the spices.
  • Cover the pan and let it simmer for about 10 minutes over a low flame.
  • Garnish with fresh coriander and serve

Tip: To enhance the flavour of cottage cheese, try sauteing it before adding it to the mixture.
